Don’t look now but that’s every state. You have to accept less in order to be considered a ‘good’ school or a ‘good’ place to work. Over the years I’ve seen people in positions where they shouldn’t ever have been because they were completely inept at their jobs. Nobody dared do anything but either praise the person in that position, or do whatever it took to not have to say anything at all and just get out of the way of the DEI hire. Everybody knew why they were there, but nobody could do anything about it. Everyone suffers for it, except the do-nothing, inept, loser job holder in positions over people way more deserving and totally competent to perform the job. It’s nothing less than hiring in from the circular file to keep from being accused of ‘job discrimination.’
