They were not exempt of the ire the Nazis possessed at anyone they chose to deem ‘not Aryan.’ Priests, cardinals, monks, bishops, Christians, Jehovah’s Witnesses, political prisoners, resistance fighters, spies, and of course some Jews who didn’t get sent to the death camps. Fewer Jews by far at Ravensbrück. Mostly the rest, including nuns whom they considered inferior or spies against Nazi Germany.

The place that has no ethnic population or identity, no common language or currency that denotes a country of people because it’s never been one, never been a place by that name? The people who got help and their own housing built by Israel who provided water and electricity? The place that birthed the greatest genocidal attack against Israeli Jews since WWII because it’s run by terrorists, and the Oct 7 attack began with not Hamas leading that massacre of Re’im and the kibbutzim but the people of Gaza who filmed it on GoPros and cellphones and can be seen by the world? That Gaza?

  4. @christalee3643 ‘The stab in the back.’ Hitler and people before him talked of the Treaty of Versailles as the ‘stab in the back.’ They lost some of the lands they invaded and claimed in the Great War.
