  3. The PM is supposed to have the executive power. Israel is a Republican state. The President represents the entire Jewish people, not just a representative of israel. He appoints the PM. He has certain powers but the PM has more to do in regards to speeches and visiting and the regular political goings-on. Maybe more like a press secretary, only with real power. Their system now changed to a seven year term for a President instead of four, and he can’t be re-elected, I don’t think. I’m not sure but if things stay the same we’ll still be hearing more from and seeing more of the PM, as usual. That’s all I know, basically. I’m not sure if this helps or not since my knowledge is limited to some basics. You might find - well, not ‘might’ but rather, you will more on Google, I’m sure.

  4. Israel knows what it’s doing when it comes to Iran, the biggest supporter of terrorism on the planet. They fund and train terrorism; units sent to other countries are sanctioned from Iran. No one “relaxes” when it comes to Iran.
