I can set my watch almost by them, and every morning they take down their parlors, ingesting it all to be able to spin again at late evening, except for the tether lines which are heaviest and used for anchoring. That’s some impressively tough silk. It takes a little under forty minutes for a large one to spin her new parlor each night. Fascinating!
