  1. Thank you, Netherlands. Your support means so much. This reduced me immediately to tears. I do not recognize my country, I have no idea who these Americans are and why they’re like this. I grew up in the late fifties and early sixties, and all the pockets of uprisings shocking as they were did not measure up to this level of vitriolic hatred and violence. I’m so saddened by all this, and some days see no hope for my country. I’m not afraid, I’m just - so deeply sad, is all. Poor BiBi treated so badly, then seeing this going on. In my country. In America! I’m sorry, I’m crying on your shoulder it seems. And you’re like an honored guest. I’m sorry, and again, thank you so much. People around the world write the nicest things and you all make me feel so not alone. I would trade these people for all of you, and then we would be strong again, and proud! My prayers are for your country as well as my own. The world seems much smaller these days. Best regards from America.
