  3. You’re exactly right. Except for those extremists - and they’re in every population - people are just people. They just want to live their lives peacefully, work and raise their families and enjoy the grandkids. Except for those extremists, and the one loose cannon who becomes the leader of the country; Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin - Putin. The newest rise for Eastern Europe. People who want only to live in peace and raise their families will undoubtably, and sadly, always be subject to do the bidding of their country’s leaders.

  4. You forgot about him taking what the oligarchs had and dispatching them either to other countries, or to their deaths. Putin made his billions that way, by stealing what others worked for.
