Black Americans and Africans labour under the wrong notion that white men were the conductors of slave trade, Slave trade in Europe , Americas lasted between 1600 to 1800 hundreds, even here it was the Arabs who were the prime suppliers of black slaves , on other hand black slavery conducted by Arabs lasted from pre islamic times till 20th century, Mohammad was a major owner of black slaves, hadiths show that he valued 2 black slaves for every non black slave . Frequently the black slaves were castrated when they had to guard harems of mohammadan royalty to prevent them from laying the female inmates.
