  1. When it comes to these Japanese cars, there's a gap in generational perception and wealth. These cars were too far ahead of their time but also behind at the same time. The youth loves them but also have no real wealth because, the last few older generations screwed us over by lack of financial education regardless of race, hence why so many Americans are incredibly in debt. Trying to explain to YouTube commenters this actual video over several years that the reason the 3000GT/Stealth were actually successful doesn't make sense because, the RX-7, Supra and NSX are so popular today. The fact the 3000GT/Stealth outsold the NSX, SUPRA, RX-7, 300ZX, SVX and I'm probably missing one then out performed Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes. It was the biggest bargain of the 90s.
