  1. 1:40 wrong, the vast majority of violent crimes with a firearm come from single mother homes. Which is also incentived by divorce and child support laws in America. For the amount of firearms legally owned in the US, mass shootings are a RAIRITY. Not to be taken out of context, Americans own over 393 million firearms. Nearly half the US population legally owns a firearm. The biggest problem with firearms is suicides. Mass loss of life in the US has to do with the mental and financial state of people. Hence the reason most impoverished area's consistently have violent crimes. Removing firearm's doesn't fix the problem, it just creates a new one. Brazil has more mass shootings and homicides than the US with a fraction of gun owners and unregistered firearms. They only have 2/3 our population. This can be seen throughout other countries of violent crimes. The unfortunate loss of life isn't soley about the tool which at this point is a hot talking point for news outlets. It's the mind set of the people
