@Air Sapphire Blue After this, go take a seat in a corner somewhere. The Koenigsegg One:1 is a 9s car and has better performance than any 'road legal' 'manned' high-performance EV. That also includes the Rimac Nevara which is faster than the Lucid in a straight line and top speed of nearly 250mph. If your idea of performance is 'only in a straight line', we're not speaking the same language numb nuts. My Benz is faster than the Lucid and Tesla Plaid. 150-160 vs 200mph. In the REAL WORLD these EVs get destroyed. The WEIGHT is the EV problem. If you want to get dumb simple, I know of a twin turbo Viper ACR running a sequential gearbox, putting 2k-3k to the wheels.

@Air Sapphire Blue Also why are you talking about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, that's pretty much all they're good for and they can't do it for that long before overheating. The only 2 EV worth talking about in way of performance is the Rimac Revera and Nio EP9 but both aren't on the road in any significant number and the EP9 likely won't see the light of day beyond a race track. If you watched the damn video you'd know I was responding to what James said. Plenty of people do roll races to 170+ those EV are only good on the low end, and they can't touch some builds and they damn sure can corner for shit.

@Air Sapphire Blue Last comment before I go to bed. The Tesla Model S Plaid finished the Nurburgring in 7:30.9 at $130k, the Lucid for shits and giggles might do 7:30 also. Stock daily driver's have gone much faster from Vettes, BMWs, Mercs, Porsches, shit a Honda Civic Type R did it in 7:43 I have nothing against EV vehicles. I like all vehicle's. EVs supposedly do all these amazing things yet they're still powered and built by the very thing they're meant to prevent 🤷🏾‍♂️ Electricity doesn't magically come out the sky to power the car. Then disposing of the batteries, any way, maybe next time you'll look before/listen before you leap.
