It can be efficient with Cylinder deactivation but also if fossil fuels were cheaper. What if we reversed the cost of electricity vs fossil fuels? Would we be saying gas powered cars are more efficient. It seems like neither are good for the environment when we include manufacturing, use, storage and disposal.

Just wondering about those clamps in the beginning, wouldn't they just be used to compress the spring? Like wouldn't they just be used to disassemble the strut assembly (still dangerous)? Then you'd use them to reinstall the shock and reassemble the strut assembly? Just wondering, b/c they look like you'd use them to compress the spring only for install.

Captain Bacon ok, that's what I thought, maybe he meant to say that but didn't realize he wasn't entirely clear about it. I'm assuming that he's saying, buy a strut assembly vs just lowering springs and be sure to address other components accordingly.

Could they just use multiple pumps?

How come no one talking about the Electronic Manual w/Electronic Clutch?

I think Formula 1 would use the tub structure of the car to make the tank instead of a traditional fuel cell, meaning they could integrate the hydrogen into the current design of the car.

Can a rotary be diesel?

No. I don't have a problem with someone having one but current integration is very unsafe for real world use. I drive 100k miles per year, I think I'm qualified to have a perspective. Personally I think having a digital instrument cluster is an ok use case for real world driving and function. Switch gear is still required. However a car with a screen that has a anchor point like the 2017-2021 Toyota Camry is ok. I drove one roughly 10k miles in a few months and I was able to use it while not taking my eyes off the road. I currently drive a Mercedes. No. They do not integrate their touch screen in a safe manner for real world use.

Putting danger back into F1 😅

@chadkline4268 So Hydrogen cars should be lighter than gas, diesel and EV cars right...
1
@chadkline4268 just an fyi, hydrogen cars have a lot of components to make it actually work that weight upwards of 500lbs
