  1. Just wondering about those clamps in the beginning, wouldn't they just be used to compress the spring? Like wouldn't they just be used to disassemble the strut assembly (still dangerous)? Then you'd use them to reinstall the shock and reassemble the strut assembly? Just wondering, b/c they look like you'd use them to compress the spring only for install.

  2. Captain Bacon ok, that's what I thought, maybe he meant to say that but didn't realize he wasn't entirely clear about it. I'm assuming that he's saying, buy a strut assembly vs just lowering springs and be sure to address other components accordingly.
