  2. It's your speed in the STI. Not sure if you guys tried, but you could have increased the tire pressure which would give you at least 2mpg better fuel economy. Plus with that added weight you should've increased the psi anyway if you hadn't. For a heavy load you should be +4 psi over the door sticker. 65mph is the most optimal hwy speed. I have a Prius and a E350 Merc. The Merc can do 35, 40mpg hwy at 65mph even at 70, 72mph. But 75, 80mph, even 90mph it's giving me 24mpg and as low as 22mpg. Granted I only have 320hp. The Prius on the other hand does 50mpg easy. If I hit 80mph, it drops to 43mpg 😂 but it's slow asf 🤣
