  1. Cars that are used and properly maintained regardless of era will last forever. I've seen W212 Mercs last over 1 million miles. In fact most Mercs up until the W212 would last 1 million miles. Why? When you buy an underpowered version it will last longer ie the 200, 220 and 250 especially diesel they will last a long time. Buying high power cars do not last long unless it's a Viper with it's V10 push rod motor and manual transmission which pretty much doesn't break ever. What have we learned. Low power, and regular maintenance 👍🏾

  2. What breaks? As for more power, that will break cars faster than lower powered cars. Like if an engine can take 1000hp but only running 120hp vs 1000hp the lower powered output will last longer.
