  1. All right. Dems, concerned about the pandemic, are voting mostly absentee. Republicans, heedless of the pandemic and suspicious of absentee voting (because of trump's railing against the practice and his kneecapping of the Postal Service) are mostly voting in person. So you have all these Republican votes cast and processed in normal fashion and all these Democratic votes in envelopes waiting to be processed. What's to stop trump from sending in his goon squads to "confiscate" absentee ballots as part of some bogus "voter fraud" investigation?

  2. Perhaps trump isn't a fascist. But he'll do till one comes along. trump may well simply be a non-ideological authoritarian who has "adopted" and co-opted conservatism as a source for shock troops, and a ideological matrix necessitated by the vagaries of the American Electoral system. He has played the political structure of this country somewhat successfully, but he's played you guys like a Stradivarius.

  3.  @1776concernedcitizen  Perhaps some people whom you regard as extremists have been able to "highjack" the protests is because more peaceful means of protest have failed to produce results. Does the name Colin Kapernick ring a bell?
