  10. Our current inflation isn't the result of normal economic reasons and won't be cured by conventional economic measures. If the fed does it's normal thing to combat inflation we will get all the negative impacts from that but none of the positive impact on inflation. The best thing to do is let it burn itself out. It will hurt, but not as much as crashing the economy would.

  48. If you're serious about addressing immigration, there are four things that must be done. (List is in no particular order.) 1. Stop the problem from getting worse. That means reinforcing the border in some fashion. 2. Deal with the people who are already here. Either total deportation, total amnesty or something in between. 3. Deal with the employers who are hiring these folks. Let's see some CEO's doing perp-walks. 4. Look at any aspects of our foreign policy that may be contributing to making their countries of origin places that they want to leave. Do any three, but not all four, and the policy will fail.
