ApexSelva Hey me female I ran to put out kitchen fire it's a personality thing i have worked with men that put low effort while the ladies did all the heavy lifting. There are men that run and scream. I think part is weather someone else is around when a person is the only one, they must take action if there is a group people tend to look to who is seen to be the strongest most capable. People are socialized that men should handle certain situations as if the situation involved lost crying child the women would perceive it is her duty to approach over a male. Now being if you were looked at to take action that show people see you respect you as a leader trust, you're the best to handle the job.

@Autonomous15 that sounds stupid both genders live in the same community we don't need to segregate. Why are you making things gender focus instead of just looking at it as who is interested and able to do the job. Yes, in general more men are interested in that type of stuff. But maybe if men learned to treat people equal stop frowning discouraging women. Then the women interested will more likely join. We can ask the same of things like childcare why are men not doing are they so unskilled they can't handle the complexities of caring for others
