Yes exactly. Not appearing needing and desperate is far more attractive. Showing off might draw in a crowd that see's you as a fool someone to laugh at and use for entertainment.

@LordMalice6d9 Umbrella in sunny weather is to protect from the direct sun and in that use, they are called parasols. Ladies use to use them fancy parasols with matching big dresses. Hard to find parasols so those sun sensitive might use a quality umbrella for some shade. Asian women can be found doing this they want to keep their skin light case it's a sign of high class the poor work out in the sun so light skin is see as a sign of coming from money.
