@nolamonahan8764 Those that overspend on wedding have a greater chance of divorce over financial debt. Plus if the going crazy sounds like its more about the excitement of a wedding showing off then actually wanting to be married. 2 people in love just want to be together and share the happiness with the people they close with you can do that without breaking the bank

@mickethegoblin7167 People deserve decent weddings the issue is their ridiculous prices if you rent the same venue but say its for a different occasion you pay a lot less. The same type of wedding in different locations likely are a huge difference in price some states are just ridiculous with their inflation. If a business when under it's all there fault for being greedy. So many people were trying to marry during pandemic there was bidding wars and long wait lists so I not sure it can be due to people not wanting to marry. Sound like a "high end' business priced themselves out more people would rather simple then wasting what could go to better use like buying homes. One couple I knew that both makes good money would never waste they even pick certain date because certain times of years day of week is cheaper that money went to things that matter.

And that's why that businesses aren't doing well many are putting off due to not being able to afford on top of keeping it simple home marriage or small less expensive events and not wanting blood diamonds rather having hand downs from family due to the horrible treatment of how real diamonds are collected. The average young person can't even afford those high-end name brands they bargin shop reuse someone else's. That more of the reason those expensive places going out over price for a gen that can't even buy homes like their parents did. From what I see no shortage of marrying its more of people setting it back to later to save if they want the decent wedding or those that want to make in official sooner is going simpler due to inflation there is more important things money goes towards like trying to buy a home. Many modern females are against jewelry that wasn't made ethically. They care about environments and are happier to get a heirloom.
