@gregorypecaut7164 I learned simple addition and subtraction but then not everyone was glued to a phone when I was in 1st grade. Could be a connection perhaps with smart phone. By the time of junior high teachers were lazy to teach told to used calculator was the beginning of when everyone carried a phone

@eirik874 So true some people go blank when put on the spot. Also sometimes when questions sound to easy people over think thinking its a trick question. Like the 3x3x3 27 pops in the head right away but as a person thats been out of school you question yourself since they been hearing they changed the rules on somethings doing it in a different way. hearing about common core I would have fail since the answer comes to mind but writing out hard
