  1.  @mebeb6399  I think that person likely felt empty because they were comparing the desire for wanting something someone else has the feeling everyone has is doing and you're the only one left out like you're not living up to your protentional. The whole social media everyone posts their best version you never see the hardship leaving people that look through it is feeling everyone else has perfect life's making it seem your very flawed worthless missing out. Strongly wanting desiring what others have while forgetting you blesses will leave one feeling depressed. One way of avoiding like the 60-year-old stepped away from Facebook you need to disconnect on what you're missing and just live enjoy the things that matter that are right in front of you. Things like your hobbies spending time with people that matter to you knowing what you value and live it. If you got a skill talent, use it make a difference. An issue with teens of today your born into a world were so much is pushed in your face and many are trying to live up to an image but never having a breck to just be with oneself your told what you should want think constant. To really know who you are what you value you need to disconnect sometimes spend time with just you your thought feelings without outside info many might be chasing someone else's dream that will leave an empty feeling. One way to feel whole is to live as your true self allow yourself to enjoy what you truly enjoy not what your told should make you happy. Happiness will look different for different people aim for your dreams
