  1. Because the security of our country is important and Republicans would rather play politics than put up the bipartisan border bill for a vote. Do you want aslyum seekers to be able to stay for 10 years while they wait for a hearing? Or only a few weeks, which would be the case if the bill passed? You can't pretend that's not an enormous difference and it's only 1 thing in the bill. Why do you think the border patrol union is in favor of the bill and said it should pass? Wake the heck up.

  10. It's used as a tool to disenfranchise voters. Republicans often use them to prohibit IDs that Democratic voters are more likely to have; such as college IDs or a library card. Republicans will allow a CCW permit or an AARP card though. Why don't we just give free universal IDs to everybody the same way we do social security cards and birth certificates? Until you offer a universal ID it's unethical to require one to vote. At least you can rest assured that there is virtually no voter fraud and you're worried about nothing.

  14.  @lilamayoral1031  Then you should understand the dangers from old, dirty, shared needles. Did you know that people who participate in needle exchanges are 5 times more likely to enter treatment programs? Show some compassion. Drug users don't need you to punish them.
