It's also telling that when identical resumes are sent to businesses but with one having a black sounding name and one having a white sounding name, that the white person is twice as likely to get a call for an interview than the black person.

  5. That's to offset the systemic disadvantages our society has for people of color. I challenge you to find one quantitative measurement where white people aren't favored to black people. From infant mortality, job hiring, banking, policing, we don't have an even playing field. It's like having 2 teams compete in a race and the majority of one team has to race with weights around their legs.
