If you can't afford a down payment just take a loan out of your 401k (if anything is left after today.) Easy peasy.

@JohnDoe-pk2hs I'm not sure who is buying a house who doesn't already have a car. Do you know who you are paying back when you pay back a 401k loan? Yourself. Also don't get a new car unless you need one because they depreciate in value.

@JohnDoe-pk2hs Also, if you don't put enough down on your house you are paying for PMI. A 401k loan helps prevent that. That's why my house payment is only $363.
