@darryljohnson9236 Good thing Trump supporters never fall for his lies! Amiright??? Also I think you meant lamb instead of sheep. Lambs are known to follow blindly- "like a lamb to the slaughter."

@alexharper7645 Trump failed on border security which is why Kamala gets my vote. He blocked the biggest border security bill of our lifetimes hoping we wouldn't pay attention. But we did.

@user-oz2yb4hr6u Wrong. Trump got his GOP cronies to block the bipartisan border security bill. You can't block security and then complain about security.
1
@jessicadavid5661 No it wouldn't. It had mandatory border closings if more than 5000 people crosses a day. Currently, there is no limit. It also fixed the asylum process. Why do you think the border union supported it?
1
@jessicadavid5661 You're telling me the border currently automatically shuts down if we have a single illegal crossing? You are wrong. ☺️
1
@jessicadavid5661 You clearly don't understand the policy. Right now = no limit. Bill = limit. There is not a *single* area of border security that is weakened by the bill.
1
@jessicadavid5661 Trump told his political allies to block the bill because he doesn't want the border crisis solved since he can campaign off of it. It's simple grift.
1
@jessicadavid5661 It's painfully clear you don't understand this provision of the bill at all, nor do you understand everything else in the bill that protects the border. You should ask yourself a question. What media misrepresented it to you, and why are they doing it? Go do your own fact seeking.
1
@jessicadavid5661 It doesn't do that. It stops border encounters (not crossings) once that threshold is reached. Currently, we have no automatic threshold.
1
@jessicadavid5661 Also, it's not illegal to "sneak in" if your intent is to declare asylum. 100% normal and legal. That's because of our current asylum laws.
1
@jessicadavid5661 No, the current threshold is infinity. We have no mechanism in place that shuts down the border after any number of crossings. Face it, the bill strengthens the border. No rational argument can be made otherwise.
1
@jessicadavid5661 Right now we have millions of people in the country waiting for asylum hearings because of how backed up the system is. Under the border bill, we would have to complete the process in 90 days. Which is better? Millions of people in the country waiting a hearing, or only thousands?
1
@jessicadavid5661 The bill also directs $20 billion for additional border security. Pretty useful!
1
@jessicadavid5661 The truth is, the GOP made a political calculus that solving the border crisis while the Democrats are in charge makes them look good and gives the Republicans one less thing to campaign on in the fall. They are putting our national security at risk because they are banking on their supporters not being able to remember what happened 9 months ago.

@darryljohnson9236 You aren't saying they're wrong...
