  19. @ Yes, I know. And I responded with "truth hurts?" Canada would collapse, pretty much overnight, if the U.S. withdrew all trade, their military support, and subsidies. Yes, it sucks, but it's true. Btw, I am a big advocate for sovereignty; both personal and National. However, I am also capable of seriously considering Trump's arguments regarding absorbing Canada. And it's a lot to consider. Moreover, his rhetoric regarding this has increased lately, so it's a conversation that must be had. It's how he operates. Hopefully there will be capable leaders, who will rise, and help us navigate this issue; sans the usual political bravado.

  21. @Joli The point JP was making was the issue of "criminal" vs. 'illegal". In Nazi Germany, it was "legal", for example, to feed one twin known harmful chemicals, to "better observe the effects". Was this "criminal" in your view, or would you condone, even embrace such experimentation, today??? Fact is, the majority of fully-transitioned individuals either commit suicide, have lifelong, even life-threatening medical problems, or at the very least, regret their decision later in life. But I'm guessing your progressivism won't allow you to even consider such things?

  49. In 2020, ~ 11 / 1,000,000 African American males were shot dead by Law Enforcement... the huge majority of which were deemed justifiable shootings. Now, juxtapose this against the claim an African American male can hardly walk down the street without being hunted down and killed by police. I think it's more than fair to say the issue has been exaggerated.
