Sweden compared to Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and U.K. : https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-daily-deaths-trajectory-per-million?country=FRA~SWE~BEL~IRL~ITA~NLD~ESP~GBR ... Sweden compared to U.S. and Canada : https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-daily-deaths-trajectory-per-million?country=CAN~SWE~USA
As you can see, Sweden's curve rose, flattened, and started dropping, just like every other country, >>> regardless of implementing lighter restrictions. <<<
But at about 45 days since 0.1/mil deaths, their curve nearly stopped dropping, and nearly flattened. https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-daily-deaths-trajectory-per-million?country=SWE~FRA~IRL
Why? Because they failed to get the Long Term Care situation under control. About 90% of fatalities were the elderly, with at least one severe comorbidity, and about 75% of fatalities were the elderly in long term care.

If they had gotten this situation under control, their curve would have continued to drop, just like every other countries'.
