Did US companies layoff communist Chinese nationals? yes..mostly technology and healthcare technology sectors.. These Chinese immigrants or visa holder were not handpicked by democratic administration. They didn't get diplomatic fax machine or travel issue documents by beijing. Somehow they came here illegally without working paper, etc. it's believe it recruited by triads ties to corrupted chinese communist party, possibility sanction Chinese officials or other overseas shell companies. Another reason, lateness at work or making excuse about sickness; went out took picture military installments or stealing companies IP when they are not employed in a company. The reason why US deport all communist chinese back home because Chinese Government refuse to apologize about COVID incident or failure to warned about COVID leaks. Many victims who died from COVID weren't rises to believe in communism. Many victims were christians, catholic, judaism, others. This is why US depart all communist students back home. They are no longer hiring or employing chinese lab students, government students, covid scientists in US. US government and federal government confiscated COVID material, files, chinese propaganda medical books out of US. US is not buy fabricating COVID orgins. US politicans stop talking to china for months, week etc. sometime phones rings. Sometimes US don't bother pick the phone up until US feels happy about china doing nice rather than escalating tension with Taiwan, play with judiciary system, and creating legitimate NSL to harm person's health.
