  1. Last year, about a million new yorkers failed to pay NYC rent because of COVID-19. They failed to pay five rents for five months. Is this true? Yes, it is. NYC wants people out. Other staying and fighting for a nice place.

  4. LOL. Yeap, NYC is very expensive. The secrets of NYC -- The landlord offers cheap to rent and only six months. The rest of it is full-price apartments. They want to see lot of good furniture inside the apartment. You have to pay mind-blowing full-price apartment. Not cheap. hahaha. A cheap apartment in NYC; sounds "too good to be true". My dad brought Direct TV in 90s for only $19.99 for six months; $59 for a whole year. A year later, 3:00 PM after school. Stormy weather in NYC no internet access and Wifi. Everyone in NYC have basic antenna channels; some wealthy class have BQ cable. I walked into my dad's room at 5:00 pm . "Why is my dad sleeping so early?". So, I turn on the TV. I pressed 1- 114 channels. I laugh so hard at direct TV.  My dad went under the blanket. My mom went in. "What's so funny? What happened?". Look at the TV. 10 years later. My advice to people. Don't' move to NYC.

  5. My experience in NYC. You get a nice landlord for about Five years; you get a mean and nasty landlord for twenty years and retires. He will ruin your kitchen, pipes, add cockroaches, increase rents, etc. you don't have the power to lower the rent. Media and protestors protesting for lower rents is useless. This is how NYC runs. if you refuse to pay rent. you get mean landlord.
