  1. I'm going to see NYC with many empty stores, similar to Seattle and San Francisco. There will be numerous "For Sale" and "For Rent" signs on display, a lot of homelessness, tent cities, drug addicts, and an increase in sanitation job openings. Despite the availability of jobs in sanitation, lawn mowing, painting, and cleaning, the homeless and unemployed often refuse to apply for them.

  2. My high school teacher, a long time ago, believed in some unconventional and controversial ideas, such as the legalization of certain illegal drugs, theft, and other crimes. She claimed she would rather survive in poverty than live a middle-class life in what she described as a police state. This is not a joke. I eventually left the city due to these political differences and the overall environment. For me, NYC is no longer safe; it feels more like Chicago or Detroit.
