  1. Would you even want to game on a machine in late 2025 that can't run W11 now? It gets to the stage that even Linux moves on and it becomes impractical to keep using old, old hardware. Case in point, I have an old XP era machine (think 1GB RAM, Celery) that needs Lubuntu because modern distros are too resource hungry. I guess I could find an even more minimalist OS if I tried.
