Good news: Dr John was right. Bad news: Dr. John was right.
561
Houston: Time to return to Earth. ISS astronauts: Yeah, no, we're good.
482
John: Delay until Spring and Summer. Australia: Winter is coming.

Good for them. Their first responsibility is always to themselves and there's a very good reason why infection control protocols stipulate the use of full PPE.
68
Patient reaches the crisis point. Dr Quimn: She's sleeping now.
22
I did the thing! I tried to scroll his notes. 😂
17
The red wine is included in the medical kit for mental health emergencies.
13
And the results are obvious on the John Hopkins website, with the US blossoming into crimson bloom.
10
I think it's important to recognise that this is a fluid situation and strategies need to be responsive and flexible, depending on the latest information. If that requires a change of tack then so be it.

So, so many people here seem to forget that Dr Campbell's approach is to report the peer reviewed literature. Rage all you want, until a peer reviewed study into the effectiveness of hydrochloroquin and zinc is published, you won't see it here, never mind how much anecdotal evidence is uploaded to social media.

And 5 weeks ago John reported that there was evidence from the Chinese that the disease could be airborne.
7
@ciderbusinsideofus Yes. It happened.
7
Find someone with the disease. Give them a biiiig kiss. Wait 2 weeks for the test results.
7
Moisturise!
7
And kill off the virus at the same time.
6
... k, you're screwed. Sorry 😷
6
Owch! Did they at least put you on oxygen?
6
That depends on the prepper. My introduction to prepping was a presentation at a statewide ambulance conference, basically promoting 72 hour preparedness. It's a long way to the opposite end of the continuum.
6
Taking candy from a baby is probably a kindness, in the long term.
6
"Poor petal". LOL
6
You don't think public health advice should be responsive to new evidence? You don't think that the same individual is capable of offering advice that changes as we become more familiar with the characteristics of the disease?
5
Was there anything inherently wrong with the message as quoted?
5
But you still need some measure of severity, even if it is provisional.
5
Or, maybe people shouldn't be racist pricks and instead leave other commuters alone.
5
To drink. (Picard facepalm)
5
Oh no! I tried that once. My mouth turned into a fountain.
4
When you lead with the words 'fake' and 'news', everything you say next is irrelevant.
4
My thought was the truck chase in Mad Max 3. The raiders crash Max's truck, but the refugees drive off into the desert with their bus packed full of toilet rolls.
4
@marier.245 Or care either way.
4
Trump is leading from the rear.
4
Yes but we all know what happens when the Mongols get annoyed.
4
🎂🎁😊
4
With a mere 2 SNPs difference between the two versions I think it's safe to say they are equivalent in complexity.
4
TBH it's a technical aspect of the disease that is of interest to epidemiologists and other academic researchers. It may be of interest to medical practitioners depending on how fine grained their treatment strategies are. I'd imagine that doctors and nurses don't give it too much thought, so long as their patients stop dying.
4
To be fair, he probably made up his mind after considering the Great Barrington argument in his own time and still was willing to feature the declaration on his channel.
4
I'm very sad about that.
4
Surely with an enclosed vehicle like a plane there should be a way to hook up a hose to one hatch and fill the entire cabin space with fumigant.
3
@bornach on that logic, 100% of all deaths everywhere should be attributed exclusively to brain death.
3
Your nose: itches.
3
Doing simulated exercises is all part of preparedness for emergency management agencies. As an ambulance volunteer I've participated in crash exercises. I've also attended crashes and it helps to have the experience you get from the training scenarios.
3
There's nothing wrong with herd immunity. It's how we go about establishing it that has the potential to cause a lot of harm.
3
@cy4330 That daddy is so going to get sued.
3
@kassrripples3659 What, without a feasibility study first? Very irregular.
3
@duanedibbley2025 Badum-tish!
3
Just! There is no 'just'. Those aphids aren't going to spray themselves.
3
How about a massive injection of funds into universities, providing the capability to conduct comprehensive, multidisciplinary debriefs at local, national and international scales, setting the scene for a coordinated, evidence based, long term response predicated on the understanding that the next pandemic is inevitable.
3
That was a real challenge for him but he got there in the end 😁
3
@kassrripples3659 someone could have coughed on the President.
3
That's probably true.
3
Illuminati confirmed. Lol.
