  1. My first inclination would be to get it done, but you have to assess the risks as they are in your community. If you have good information that says there is a lot of community spread, it may be safer to postpone, but then you run the risk of exposing your baby to diseases it should have been immunised against. Also, the epidemic in your area may worsen, so delaying the trip to the doctor's could be counterproductive.
