  2. So, to summarise the above, you have a healthy immune system, which is good. You have hypertension, which is bad. Your blood pressure medication should help, which is good. The disease can cause cardiomyopathy, which is bad. Keeping your BP under control as best as you can and avoiding the disease is the safest bet.

It would depend on how much penetration you achieve with the steam cleaner, the temperature you can maintain and the duration of the treatment. If you leave pockets of virus in the depths of the cloth, that would be a problem. I'm not familiar with the effectiveness of steam cleaners against disease.
