  1. As a recently retired organic farmer I can honestly say you are only barely scratching the surface of this subject. We were treated as the enemy and constantly paid higher fees (10x) . During the organic salad contamination incident the corporate guys were allowed to study their own problem and blamed it on us small farms. Regulatory hammers come down and we are driven from market share. During the federal organic certification meetings we were lied to and a couple of years later the corporate organic processed food hit the market. Covid took our restaurant markets and decimated our local farmers markets. Their aggression is somewhat passive but constant. Corruption is rampant.
