  1. The way Gupta talks about his anxiety over releasing his studies is wild and emblematic of the politicization of medicine. Here you have a doctor, ostensibly doing good research into the medical benefits of a substance, and he still felt that there was a chance he could lose his job by revealing his findings. This goes way beyond marijuana, politics is controlling the way we are allowed to think about medicine.
