Yea Tyson is honestly one of the most overrated boxers in history, there's literally people who think he's the GOAT, lol. Delusional.

Yep, Holyfield is one of my favorite boxers of all time, the guy had the heart of a lion and wasn't scared of anyone. Loved watching him fight.

@robertgreen9717 Let's not act like that was a prime Holyfield, he was already fading by the time him and Lewis fought, he was almost 40 and even then he still put up a pretty good fight, definitely way better than what Tyson did against Lewis, which was an embarrassment.

Holyfield is one of my all time favorites man, the guy never backed down and never quit, he wasn't scared or intimidated by anyone, he was also a good humble dude. It's so funny that Tyson fanboys always try to vilify him when Tyson was out here biting ears, trying to break arms, telling people he's going to eat their kids, etc. LOL.

@ericksonaerialfilms1047 I definitely disagree with that man, Holyfield was extremely durable, even taking big blows from Foreman (who Holyfield said hit harder than Tyson) without going down even once. Regardless of when they fought i just feel like Holyfield had his number and was his kryptonite. He had a lot of heart, wasn't scared of Tyson, and was very tough and durable. But we'll never know unfortunately.

Exactly, that was pure disrespect. Holyfield is definitely above Tyson all time.

@petersilie1152 What exactly am I doing? Tyson fans act like Holyfield is some sort of villain, just because they are bitter that Holyfield whooped him twice, they come up with every excuse in the world lol. Tyson was actually the real pos but they act like he was an angel.
2
Yea right, lmao. Holyfield whooped his ass in sparring in 1984.
2
Not even CLOSE to being the GOAT.
2
@Andre-cl2qt You don’t know boxing, lmao. Holyfield and Lewis aren’t great?? GTFOH. They most certainly are great, they are literally two of the greatest boxers all time. Both are easily top 10.
2
Delusional. Tyson's not even top 10 all time. He's extremely overrated by casual boxing fans who don't know any better. Holyfield beats him at ANY point of his career, and Tyson's camp knew it, which is why he ducked Holyfield in the late 80's and the early 90's. Holyfield literally chased him for a fight and Tyson's camp didn't want it, they FINALLY agreed in 1991 but Tyson pulled out of the fight with an "injury" and then ended up going to jail not too long afterwards. Holyfield had to wait until 1996 to finally fight Tyson.

@rooh5825 I don’t believe that at all. Holyfield took shots from Tyson and Foreman, he said Foreman hit harder. NEITHER one of them could drop him, or even get close to it. You can make excuses about Tyson being a “shell” of himself, which he wasn’t, but he still had the same power, he didn’t lose it between ‘91 and ‘96.
1
Not even close to the GOAT
1
Yea right Tyson fanboy, stop excusing Tyson's BS. He was just mad and frustrated that Holyfield was giving him a boxing lesson. He KNEW he couldn't win so he did the coward thing and chose to get himself disqualified.
1
One of my favorite boxers of all time. The man had the heart of a lion and never backed down from anyone.
1
You delusional Tyson fanboys need to stop it. The dude isn't even top 10 all time.
1
If you don't know or remember Holyfield or Lewis, two of the greatest heavyweights of all time, then you're clearly not a boxing fan, just a casual Tyson fanboy, lol.
1
Holyfield whooped him in sparring in 1984, and chased tyson for a fight in the very late 80's and early 90's, lmao. Tyson finally agreed to fight in 1991 but then backed out with an "injury" and went to jail not long afterwards, which is why they didn't get to fight until 1996.
1
In what universe? Definitely not this one.
1
Lmao, stop making up garbage. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
1
Exactly!
1
@tdunster2011 Yea right. Holyfield dominated Tyson, you clearly didn’t watch those fights. The first fight wasn’t even remotely close and it had nothing to do with headbutts. Holyfield outboxed and bullied Tyson the whole fight.
1
Yea right. Tyson is overrated. He would have gotten beaten by Holyfield regardless of when they fought.
1
What are you talking about? Lol. Holyfield's "size" "saved" him?? Tyson was the heavier fighter between the two. No, Holyfield was "saved" by being the better fighter and having more heart and determination.
1
Arm breaking, ear biting Tyson.
1
You don't know boxing history clearly, Holyfield wasn't even a heavyweight at the time, BUT he became a heavyweight in the late 80's/early 90's and wanted to fight Tyson, Tyson avoided him but eventually agreed to a fight him in 1991, but then pulled out with an "injury" and then later ended up going to jail. Holyfield didn't get to fight him until years later in 1996.
1
What is up with you delusional Tyson fans?? Based on this video you think Tyson's the "best"? Because of WHAT exactly? Lmao. Tyson isn't even a top 10 boxer of all time. You'd have to be an extremely casual "boxing fan" to think Tyson is the GOAT.
1
You clearly know nothing about boxing. Holyfield was a warrior, a REAL fighter, who had heart and determination. Tyson didn't have half the heart or courage of Holyfield. You saying Holyfield of ALL people wasn't a "true fighter" is asinine.
1
He’s nowhere near the greatest, Tyson fanboys are just delusional. They make excuses for every single thing.
