FWIW: When the possibility of finding exoplanets similar to Earth is discussed, it reminds me of a quote from the first episode {"Breakaway"} of a 70's science fiction TV show called SPACE: 1999. Early in the episode Commissioner Simmons - played by actor Roy Dotrice - referring to a newly discovered planet called Meta, says: "Planet Meta could be supporting life...as we know it." That "... could be supporting life as we know it" bit always comes to my mind for whatever reason....

  47. FWIW: It seems to my non-engineer-mind that using large reflectors to reflect {because that is what they are best at 😊} sunlight to ground-based solar farms. While local weather would still effect operation, it could operate up to 24 hours a day.
