@lordpyrinc1192 >>> FWIW: I retired from the military in 2003, and have worn my hair long -- usually long enough to wear in a ponytail -- ever since that time. At age 62, I still have most of my hair, which is still mostly brown. {My BEARD, however has mostly lost the war with THE GRAY...🤭}

@adreabrooks11 >>> FWIW: For ME, the two main reasons why I still wear my hair long are: (1) I was in the U.S. Navy 3 years, then the U.S. Coast Guard 17 years {I retired from the USCG in 2003.} Since I HAD TO WEAR MY HAIR SHORT all those years, I now wear it long. {And I still have most of my hair.} Same reason I let my beard grow. Twenty years of MANDATORY SHAVING got old. (2) My hair is COMPLETELY NOT CURLY, and tends to DO ITS OWN THING -- DESPITE MY BEST EFFORTS -- when I wear it short. Wearing it tied back in a ponytail mostly fixes that problem. And I agree about "styling." My default philosophy has always been "Less is More."

@gpwcowboy >>> My long hair does not take a lot of time for care. I only require: (1) Shampoo (2) Water (3) Towel (4) Hair Brush or Comb (5) VERY RARELY: A hair dryer (6) Elastic hair ties 🤭🤭🤭

Although originally from Florida, I have been living in N.E. North Carolina since 1995. That said, I APPROVE the alternate name for the mullet: "North Carolina Neck Warmer." 🤭

Just so we are clear: Since retiring from the military in 2003, I have worn my hair long. Usually long enough to wear in a ponytail. It is NOT a MULLET. 🤭🤭🤭
