People who criticize today's {admittedly QUITE expensive} suborbital space flights by BLUE ORIGIN and VIRGIN fail to see these activities are forerunners of future, CHEAPER, commercialized access to space. Just as events from decades past, as mentioned in this video, were forerunners to modern commercial and civil aviation.
