  1. I have been living in northeastern North Carolina since 1995, not too far from Chesapeake, Virginia. I wish I had known about the site there when it was still operating. There is an NSA[?] facility in that area, and I suspect that is where the antenna array was located. As I mentioned in another comment, was living in southern Florida from 1988 to 1995. I might have tried visiting the array at Homestead AFB had I known about that. I ALSO might have visited this abandoned AEROJET GENERAL rocket engine test facility in the Florida Everglades, featured in this linked video by Adam The Woo, if I had in any way known of its existence: https://youtu.be/InvlqbJ2acY

  2. FWIW: I was living in northern Dade County, Florida when Hurricane Andrew struck in 1992. The city of Homestead is located in southern Dade County. Going through a Hurricane is similar to how a US Navy recruiter once described boot camp to me: "It's not an orgasmic experience."
