  2. FWIW: Back around 2004 I hacked {modified} a 180° rotation servo to allow it to turn continuously 360°. I needed it for a KAP {Kite Aerial Photography} rig I was building. At the time I either could not acquire a dedicated continuous rotation servo -- they are readily available now -- or I did not have the money to purchase one. {I already had some 180° servos on hand that I could modify.} I was 43 years old at the time, and it was ALSO when I FIRST NOTICED I had trouble looking at very small objects very close up. {Trying to see the internal servo bits I was soldering.} Ah, the JOYS of getting OLDER...😊

  3. For some decades I have had friends with R/C planes, boats, & cars. I however never owned any, although I did fly control-line model airplanes in the 1970s. I purchased my first {and to date only} R/C setup in the early 2000s when I built my second KAP {Kite Aerial Photography} rig. Back around 2004 I 'hacked' one of my servos to allow 360° continuous rotation. It was THEN -- trying to do that fine detailed work at about the age of 43 -- that I realized I WAS EVENTUALLY GOING TO NEED PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASSES...😊
