WHY do they have THREE blades? I do not know, it is ODD to me. 😊😊😊😊

@Engineering with Rosie >>> Here is a question/video idea[?] for you: I have read about a proposed wind power generating system developed in the 1970s [?] that included a large vertical tower enclosing a turbine. The tower widened into a kind of skirt at the bottom near the ground, where the air actually entered. Air would flow up the tower, driving the turbine blades. The tower would also have louvers that would increase the efficiency of the system, although I do not remember the specifics. This idea SEEMED promising to the non-engineer ME, but some years after first reading this I came across some more information online saying how there were problems with this system -- I again do not remember the specifics -- and those problems tended to negate most if not all of the advantages of this entire system. Everything I have mentioned I read SEVERAL years ago, so I am going from memory with all this. If you need more info to find what I am talking about, let me know and I will TRY to dig up the relevant information. {I wanted to at least post SOMETHING here while I was thinking of it, although I do not have any exact details at the moment.} EDIT: It MIGHT be this: https://patents.google.com/patent/US4070131A/en

I have not yet had a chance to watch this video. That said, I wanted to 'throw this out there' regarding Hydrogen Fuel Cells vs. Batteries for ground vehicles. Switching to all-battery vehicles means either replacing ALL the vehicles, or ripping out their existing drive trains and replacing them with batteries and electric motors. Existing internal combustion engine-powered vehicles can already be converted to running on hydrogen. I know spark ignition reciprocating engines and gas turbines can burn hydrogen. AFAIK so can Wankel Rotaries and Diesels. Since an infrastucture for H² would be needed to support H² Fuel Cells anyway, such a system would immediately go into operation, {probably} decades before a majority fleet of H² Fuel Cells was operating. {Just my two cents.}

Native Floridians: What are MOUNTAINS? 😉 {Great video, Rosie...👍}

FWIW: Another way this is NOT "perpetual motion" is the fact one day -- presumably far into the future -- the mine will have exhausted it's iron ore reserves.

Crocodile Dundee: "That's not a wind turbine. THIS is a wind turbine." 😉

FWIW: Despite the efficiency (and other} issues with Vertical Axis Wind Turbines, from an aesthetic point of view I have always thought VAWTs looked MUCH COOLER than HAWTs.

@EngineeringwithRosie >>> So, what you are saying is living in Denmark is a "cake walk"? {I will see myself to the door now...🤭}
