The parafoil was invented in the early 1960s by a gentleman named Domina Jalbert, a Canadian-born American citizen. Besides being used by skydivers the world over, they are also flown as kites. {This is where the "KITE" in "RocKITEman" comes from...😊} I consider this name issue similar to -- but NOT as EGREGIOUS as -- NASA choosing the name "Orion" for their space capsule, while seemingly forgetting "PROJECT ORION" from the late 1950s and early 1960s. {BTW, I wonder if Scott and his wife ever refer to their son as Project Orion? 😉}
