FWIW: My biggest issue with the motion picture 2O1O is the character Heywood Floyd {played by Roy Schneider} did not know HAL-9000 had been programmed with information about the Monolith excavated on the Moon. It was abundantly clear from 2OO1 that Floyd -- played by William Sylvester in that motion picture -- knew all about it. "Good day, gentlemen.
