FWIW: I have an "Electronic Nosecone" I purchased years ago at a military surplus store in Indiana. Basically just a hand-sized paperweight. It is sealed with some kind of epoxy[?] material to make it unusable. I would LOVE to run it through one of these machines and see what is inside of it. {ALSO FWIW: Decades ago I had a few others of these things that I purchased at a different military surplus store in Indiana, but they got lost over time. That is why I purchased the more recent one.}

Referencing what Scott says at about 19:35 in this video: I was born in 1961. I am familiar with using 5ΒΌ inch & 3Β½ inch computer floppy disks. {I have also seen at least one 8 inch disk, although I never actually used any personally.} A few weeks ago I loaded a 256-ish GIGABYTE memory stick in my smartphone, which I am currently watching this video on. {I could have purchased one with more memory, but that was all I really needed.} It STILL AMAZES ME that is something so small can contain so much information.
