The government evaluates your property value (house+land), then they deduct 20% from that for safety of not pressuring people too hard, it is from that 80% value of your property they put a tax. The tax is 0,92% up to $500.000 , excess value you pay 3% from the value < $500.000. I believe that is "luxury" tax. Even if a person has a loan they have to pay property tax. Most people rent an apartment in Denmark. Only homeowners pay property tax. Guise the owner of the apartment complex pays Property tax and sends the bill to the renter 🤗😫
