  3. @666We wouldn’t have NASA without the Nazis, along with a lot of other things. I have no opinion one way or another about that, it’s just the truth. Even things you might not even think about, like the data we have on the effects of chemicals on humans. Kind of morbid, but a lot of that comes from WWII.

  6. Because these suburbs are now older inner ring suburbs that more resemble the city. They also resemble the city in other ways like high crime and horrible schools.

  8. A lot of them are dead, and have been for a long time. By the end of the 60s into the 70s, this culture became pretty much all about drugs, and not just weed and acid.

  13. The 60’s was good for a couple years, but it was really the beginning of the decay of our society. The happy flowery bunny rabbit hippy days quickly turned into just a drug culture. Just look at SF today. The hippies in the video became the people in charge eventually, and look where that’s gotten us.
