  1.  @Idtelos  When I was younger, you could buy brand new pickups for $15,000-$20,000. I know there is inflation, but $65,000 does not account for that. I don't buy pickups for luxury or gas mileage. I want a basic truck that does what a truck is supposed to do.

  2. The Tundra has lost it's way. Never owned one, but have always admired them for their reliability and old schoolness. They're no different than the overdone American pickups now IMO.

  3. IMO you don't buy a truck for the gas mileage, and all this crap they're doing to modern trucks is pointless, less reliable, and more expensive to fix. They have pretty much left people that just want a basic pickup behind, in favor of creating these shiny, overcomplicated, overly technological, overly expensive glorified luxury SUV's. If dropping $60K on a truck is not a problem, by all means, but there is no way in hell I'm ever spending that on what is supposed to be a basic, utilitarian vehicle.
