  1. Great video on the most important aspect of maintaining your vehicle, oil and filter. So many people neglect the importance of the filter and they buy into this 10,000 mile oil change BS. The filter is the weak link, and even if the oil is fine at 8K, or 9K miles, how good is the filter? Oil is cheap, engines are expensive, change your oil. There is nothing wrong with being overly anal about oil changes, and the overly anal people will probably be driving their vehicles for hundreds of thousands of miles longer, relatively trouble free, while other people will be looking at huge repairs costing thousands upon thousands of dollars.
